Hello,
My name is BB. I am a bus. I transport people. Transport means move from one place to another place.
I have two solar panels on my roof. My solar panels use the rays of the sun to make electricity. The electricity travels to my batteries through wires and fills my batteries with energy.
My batteries are connected to my electric motor. My electric motor is connected to my wheels. When the electric motor is put in forward the bus uses the energy in the battery to move.
BB
This is a student in Mr Savage's class. He has made a racing car. He is transporting his car with his feet to Mr. Savage's race track. People have used their feet for thousands of years to move themselves and things.
Paths
This is the Gravity Car Race. The cars race down two paths. The paths are called lanes. Racing downhill on a gravity track makes the cars go fast!
Bridges
Two friends were each making a house by the sea. There was a river between their houses.
They had to make a bridge to cross the water between the houses. A bridge is a path that connects different places. They are very important structures.
Bicycles
A bicycle is a vehicle. Bicycles have two wheels. The wheels are held in a frame.
One wheel is behind the other. The bicycle moves by moving the pedals forward.
The bicycle's direction is controlled by using handlebars attached to the front wheel. Handlebars help you follow a path.
Bicycles are great because they don't make pollution. These girls are learning how to fix a bicycle.
