DIY
DIY is an acronym that stands for "Do It Yourself."
It means making, building, or fixing things on your own instead of buying them from a store or hiring someone else to do it.
You will. With practice, learn how to do it yourself, but if you need a little help in doing it, that's understandable. Sometimes I need help.
Why DIY Matters to You
Creativity: All students are creative but you can always improve your creativity skills. Choose the colors, shapes, and designs for your projects carefully.
Brain power: Designing things will help you practice math, science, technology and art. This work or homework is fun. Try to do your best.
Problem solving: This is important. Fix mistakes, when your project does not work out the first time, and learn from your mistakes.
Gifts: Making your own gifts tells people that they are important to you; that you care!
Confidence: Finishing a project gives you a great feeling of pride!
