Parents Boxboard Organization
  Organizing  Boxboard at Home
Parents, you can help your child disassemble, and organize cereal boxes (boxboard) for delivery to their classroom. The class will use this excellent free material for designing and  constructing projects.

Start by contributing, to your child’s classroom,  a reusable, grocery shopping  bag, large enough to hold a family size cereal box. Write your child’s name on it with a permanent marker. This bag, when full,  will be used to transport the boxboard containers to the classroom.

To organize the bag for everyday use, permanently attach  an appropriately sized and  safe hook on  a closet or on a wall.

Your child’s task is to organize and fill the bag on a daily basis. Hang  the bag so that your child can remove the bag for filling.

Demonstrate how to disassemble, flatten the cereal box and place it in the bag neatly. When the bag is full, have your child take it to school.
