MST
Math, Science, Technology
MST connections is way of thinking about how math, science and technology  work together.

MST is used to solve real-world- problems, such as designing a new and better bicycle.

MST can improve transportation by adding an electric motor to your bicycle.

MST can make a  better battery for your bicycle or laptop. Understanding MST is an essential tool for making progress.

My students used MST tools and instruments in exploring how things work and how to make things.

I used the combination of the three subjects to focus on improving my students' knowledge, and problem solving skills. They will be the real-world problem solvers and designers by becoming inventors.

But the first thing that I told my students is you need to understand the metric system of standards!
The connections between MST  are everywhere. Learning skills in design and using design tools will  help you be  creative and understand the connections.
Math is  the calculating   tool for understanding science, and technology. Metric math is used when you want to solve  a  problem connecting science and tech.
Soldering is a permanent
connection skill when you are connecting two copper wires so that electrons flow.
Geometry, science and tech are used to find solutions to cold weather housing problems.
What connects math, science and technology?
The metric system connects math, science and technology. Ten-year-old kids must have a comprehensive and practical understanding of the metric system of measurement!
